Gel nail polishes are formulated to harden when exposed to different sources and types of light. UV light is the mostly invisible form of light that is present in sunlight, tanning lamps, and nail polish lamps. The LED light is a light source that is visible. 

An LED lamp will speed up the curing process and usually takes 30 seconds to harden polish, while a UV lamp will take up to 2 minutes to cure your nails. Also, the LED lamps use less energy and are more eco-friendly than the UV lamps. If you take a look at our website, you’ll see we use and recommend LED lamps only.
